Tyma TE-1 AG is a semi-acoustic guitar, which is equipped with both an electric guitar pickup and an acoustic guitar pickup, which makes it possible to use Tyma TE-1 AG as either an acoustic or an electric guitar .

The body of the Tyma TE-1 AG is narrow and equipped with a sound box, which is made exclusively of mahogany. Mahogany gives Tyma TE-1 AG a warm and harmonious sound, with a good balance between the thin and the thick strings, and is at the same time a type of wood that is just as suitable for acoustic guitars as for electric guitars. The neck is also made of African mahogany, while the fingerboard is made of rosewood and mounted with 21 frets. Bridge and saddle are made of bone, which ensures optimal contact between strings and guitar.

The Tyma TE-1 AG comes with a built-in pickup, which consists of a built-in preamp and microphone, which is located under the bridge, as well as a single-coil electric guitar pickup, which is mounted on the top.
